The Grove City College Debate Team wrapped up its 2016-2017 season in dominant fashion by winning an overall national championship as well as several individual ones and securing a place as one of the most successful teams in College history.

The following local residents were among the 595 students who received degrees during Commencement exercises at Grove City College on May 14, 2016. Delivering this year's Commencement address was Dr. Ben Carson, renowned pediatric neurosurgeon and former 2016 Republican presidential candidate. The Class of 2016 was the second largest class in Grove City College history, coming in just shy of the 596-member Class of 2010. In recent years, the Grove City College's four-year graduation rate has climbed to 78 percent, while its six-year graduation rate has reached 85 percent. The average graduation rate in the U.S. is 59 percent.

Three Chinese language students from Grove City College were honored this year for their mastery of a second language and their academic achievements.

The Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Grove City College crowned the winners of their 14th annual Business Plan Competition on Saturday, April 30th at the College's annual Recognition Convocation.
